BAL Mela Resource Group Training 2011
one day training was organized for the Resource Group members of BAL Panchayt Bhopal at I & IV cluster on 11 & 14 Jan 2010 respectively to constitute a resource group who will be in future organizing activities for children who are part of Activity Centers who are child labourers or belong to vulnerable section of the society who have a very little or no access to quality of living. We have formed a core group of children named BAL Panchayat, Bhopal who would be advocating for these children, because we believe that children are best medium to spread awareness in the community if they are well aware of their rights. They can convince their parents & community to support them & transfer the information they avail through participating in group meetings & other activities. 10 members each from I & IV cluster BAL Panchayat were selected who voluntarily showed interest to spend some time for such children who are residing in their near by slums & living in difficult situations. The children were taught different crafts activities like Marble Painting, Salt Painting, Tread Painting, Telephone & Magic. These will be replicated by them in BAL Mela's conducted for children in activity centers at Meera Nagar & Mailn Basti Slums.
